Abdul Majeed Salik was a prominent name of Urdu journalism. He rose to fame for his literary contributions as well as his services he rendered for his nation. He served in different positions as a journalist. He was not only well versed in Urdu but also a very good scholar of Persian language and literature. He composed verses both in Urdu and Persian. This article focuses his poetic contributions especially in Persian language.
