Abstract

Pandit Sudarshan is a big name of Urdu short story writing. Problems of rural and urban life, domestic affairs, confusions of individual life, environmental complexity and class division are the main topics of his fiction. He bravely unveils the cruelty that results from the lust and luxury of the rich and capitalists. He shows the horrible face of the evil rich people, which makes humanity tremble. His collections "Chutkiyan", "Chandan" and "Chashma-o-Chirag" are a testament to this fact. The article covers the traces of Unity of Existence and God’s Conception in Sudarshan’s short stories.
