Abstract
Kashmir is famous for its natural beauty. It became prominent for its flourishing Islamic culture especially in the reign of Sultans. The Muslim saints played very important role in the spread of Islam and its civilization during 1339 - 1585. The traits of Islamic civilization such as Tauheed, Equality, Culture, Literature, Architecture, Calligraphy, Handicrafts and Language greatly influenced Kashmir and paved the way for spread of Islamic civilization. Sultans’ period is also characterized with rights of women, economy and education in Kashmir.
