Mi’raaj-un-Nabi has a great impact on Muslim thoughts and views. Narration of the event of Mi’raaj is found in whole Muslim literature of each language. The Sufis have been using the terminology of Mi’raaj to depict their own mystical experiences and observations. The written contemplation of Muslim saints and classical Islamic literature contain the elements of thoughts related closely to Mi’raaj. The article presents a study of the event of Mi’raaj by incorporating examples from three major languages of the Muslim i.e., Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
