Abstract
Allama Muhammad Iqbal is our national poet. He infused a new spirit into his nation through his life-giving poetry. He composed on almost all issues essential for the revival of the Muslims of the Subcontinent. He not only addressed the youth in his works but also womenfolk. He emphasized the vibrant role of women in building a God-fearing and prosperous society. The article focuses on the important role and status of womenfolk as expressed in Iqbal’s poetry.
