Abstract
The Occurrence of Karbala is an extraordinary event in history which has had an indelible political, social, and cultural impact on the history of the Muslim Ummah and this event teaches a lesson to resist oppression, and tyranny, so this event not only It became a symbol of determination, courage and bravery, but also a metaphor of self-sacrifice. As literature is a social formation, therefore the events of Karbala have also become its subject. In Urdu literature, the strong tradition of expressing the event of Karbala in poetry in the form of "Marsiya" and "Salam". In Urdu fiction, Fiction writers have also included the karbala event along with its elements as an subject matter of their works. The event of Karbala is a historical and religious matter, and Fiction writer also explores and presents history at the level of probabilities. Therefore, most fiction writer have made the event of Karbala a direct subject. And many fiction writers have taken the elements of Karbala on a metaphorical and symbolic level, while its social and cultural formation have also been made as an subject. So Many fiction writers have been presented in the fictional literature related to the above topic. Therefore, the Event of Karbala appears to play a role in all genres of fiction, Dastan, novel, short stories and in drama.and they also convey their ideas effectively through krbala.
