MahsatiGanjivi is a well known poetess of 5^th century A.H who was first poetess of quartrain and she was also first poetess who wrote ShahreAshob in quartrain and she gave novelty to this form of poetry by discussing the professions of common people like butcher,shoe maker etc.she was the courageous  lady who expressed feelings of women librally and she also pin pointed the double standards of religious people like Hafiz Shirazi. Because of her boldness she has to face criticism and also was imprisioned.Echo of MahsatiGanjivi can be heard in the poetry of  KishwarNaheed who was born in Sayyid family where she had to face restrictions of hijab and other social  injustice and superiority of man over woman. So she like Mahsati raised her voice against this social injustice and strongly propounded the sentiments of a woman and denied the supremacy of man, that’s why she was conferred with the title of rebel.
