Abstract

With the occupation of the subcontinent by the British, they established many institutions to strengthen their foothold. A number of associations were formed to reach to the local populace. Realizing the changed scenario, the Muslim also multiplied their effort to awaken the Muslim by setting up many an association and foundation. Anjuman-e-Kasur was such an association formed to serve the same. RISALA was its official organ. This journal focused writings mainly on science in order to create scientific awareness among the people of Kasur. The article highlights the services of the said association and its official organ in this regard.
