Abstract
The article raises some basic and inevitable questions upon the very important book on Yagana by Nayyar Masud named Yagana: Ahwal-o-Asar. Nayyar Masud as the direct observer of Yagana's last period of life could address aptly issues related to Yagana’s writings and personality. But it seems that he willingly left them unanswered. It’s why the book could not quench the thirst of a researcher on life and works of Yagana. This also does not match with Nayyar Masud's own standard of research.
